Description: Near the main entrance to the historic building, there is one parking space for people with disabilities, located on the right side of the courtyard entrance.

Main entrance to the building:

  • accessible from the sidewalk level,
  • does not have automatic doors,
  • has an intercom on the right side that allows people with mobility difficulties to call for assistance,
  • entry with an assistance dog is allowed without restrictions (based on the Act on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities).

Inside the building:

  • on the right side of the main entrance there is a cloakroom,
  • on the right side of the main entrance there is a tactile map; another one is located on the first floor, to the left of the elevator exit, near the Humanities Reading Room,
  • to the left of the cloakroom door there is an elevator with buttons labeled in Braille, serving all floors of the historic building; the elevator does not have voice announcements,
  • stairs are equipped with handrails on both sides; the first and last steps are not marked with contrasting strips,
  • on the right side of the stairs on the elevated ground floor there is a toilet adapted for people with disabilities,
  • on the right side of the stairs on the first floor is the Humanities Reading Room, which includes a workstation with a scanner, magnifier, and a computer with screen reader software for visually impaired users,
  • rooms in the building are not marked with tactile signs or Braille,
  • there is no audio navigation system for visually impaired users.
